BizOps Senior Systems Engineer
This is a remote position.
Role Summary
BizOps is part of Evercam’s Systems, Data and AI function. It plays a core role in supporting internal business processes and automation. BizOps primarily implements ERP-type processes across our Zoho Suite of products. It also develops and manages internal software tools that support the business.
The BizOps Senior Systems Engineer turns BizOps ideas, tickets, and cross-functional requests into delivered work. The role includes intake, scoping, project plans, implementation, stakeholder follow-up, rollout communication, documentation, and closure across CRM, Desk, Analytics, Finance, CS, Sales, Product, and Ops workflows.
The role is intentionally broad. It favours candidates who think across systems, data, and integrations. We need someone who can plan and implement systems. We need someone who can document and communicate about those systems to ensure adoption and optimal usage. This person should understand Zoho CRM top to bottom, see how Sales, Marketing, CS, Finance, Analytics, and Ops use the same data differently, and help connect work across the entire lead-to-cash operating model.
Application note: All applicants must complete a short pre-screening assessment as part of the application process to help us better understand your experience and fit for the role - applications without a completed assessment will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Build lightweight project plans with stakeholders across the business.
- Implement required changes across involved systems, using whatever combination of system configuration, low-code/no-code tooling, scripting, and AI-driven custom software development is needed.
- Coordinate QA, rollout, training, and post-launch feedback loops.
Documentation and Adoption
- Maintain GetOutline documentation, project notes, and handoff materials for BizOps workflows.
- Turn repeated questions into better process notes, training material, or workflow improvements.
- Ensure new workflows have clear owners, escalation paths, adoption metrics, and review dates.
- Help teams move away from ad hoc chat requests toward visible ticket and project systems.
Systems, Data and AI
- Understand Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Desk, Analytics, Zoho Mail, Google Drive, and related integrations well enough to spot ownership gaps, source-of-truth conflicts, and downstream impact before changes are made.
- Use AI to develop required internal custom software tools
- Translate business objectives into clear data model, field, workflow, integration, reporting, and governance requirements.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, CS, Finance, Analytics, Product, and BizOps so systems support how people actually work, not just how tools can be configured.
- Evaluate build-vs-buy options with Antonio or the technical owner, balancing speed, maintainability, data quality, adoption, and ownership.
Requirements
- Western Europe or Algeria based.
- Systems ownership: Someone who can investigate issues, configure systems, build automations, and implement improvements.
- Data Literacy: Someone who knows what good data looks like and takes naming, definitions, and data hygiene seriously.
- Business process design: Strong emphasis on understanding and improving end-to-end processes across Sales, Finance, CS, Operations, and other departments.
- Independent problem-solving: Someone who can take an ambiguous problem, understand the business requirements, evaluate alternatives, and drive a solution with minimal supervision.
- Cross-functional ownership: The ability to work directly with stakeholders, challenge existing processes, and lead initiatives across departments.
- Technical aptitude: A strong understanding of CRM/ERP systems, data structures, workflows, integrations, and automation, even if you aren't necessarily a developer.
