We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven People Apps Manager to lead our Corporate IT Applications team focused on HR technology. In this role, you will bridge the gap between human resources strategy and technology execution. You will oversee the roadmap, integration, deployment, and optimization of our global People systems (including HRIS, Payroll, ATS, Performance Management, and internal employee tools).

As a leader, you will manage a team of IT business analysts, systems engineers, and administrators to deliver secure, scalable, and seamless digital experiences for our global workforce.

  • Lead and mentor a growing team of IT applications engineers, administrators, and analysts.

  • Define the long-term roadmap for our People Applications portfolio in close alignment with HR, People Ops, and corporate security strategies.

  • Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and budget allocations for the HR tech stack.

Systems Architecture & Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of People applications, including system configurations, integrations, upgrades, and migrations.

  • Ensure seamless data flow between core HRIS platforms, active directories, Identity Management (IDAM), and downstream business applications.

  • Partner with InfoSec and Compliance to maintain high standards of data privacy, access controls, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, SOX).

Business Partnership & Support

  • Act as the primary technical advisor to People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards teams.

  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications and automated workflows.

  • Oversee tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex system errors or optimization requests.

🎯 Key Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate IT enterprise applications, specifically within HR tech ecosystems.

  • 2+ years of experience directly leading or managing technical teams.

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in enterprise HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, BambooHR, or UKG).

  • Strong understanding of the broader HR tech stack, including systems like Greenhouse, Lever, ADP, Culture Amp, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with integration architectures (e.g., API management, iPaaS platforms like Workato/Mulesoft).

Core Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business partners.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience driving cross-functional agile projects from conception to completion.
