You will design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures to capture, process, and analyze complex telemetry, sensor, and video data across multiple product lines. By automating data flows and creating high-performance internal tools, you will enable rapid decision-making, testing, and continuous deployment across all engineering teams.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO AT STARK</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines for real-time ingestion and processing of telemetry, sensor, and video data.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop robust automation frameworks and internal tooling to stream data workflows across cross-functional STARK programs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Architect cloud infrastructure and data storage solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure high availability and low latency.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams to define data models, interface specs, and telemetry schemas.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Optimize data processing pipelines for high throughput, memory efficiency, and sub-second execution in mission-critical environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Implement comprehensive data quality, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect anomalies and operational issues.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain rigorous software engineering standards, including unit testing, CI/CD practices, and clear technical documentation.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum 3 + years of experience in similar relevant roles</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Go.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and data processing systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems, as well as object storage.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architectures.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven track record of working with high-volume telemetry, sensor data streams, or video data processing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience creating developer tooling, CLI utilities, and automated CI/CD workflows.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong problem-solving mindset and solid foundation in software engineering and distributed systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Eligibility to obtain a German / NATO security clearance (EU / NATO citizenship required by national security regulations)</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>NICE TO HAVE</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of machine learning and data science related concepts and applications.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or robotics domain applications.</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your <strong>CV in English</strong>.
