Job Description:
As a Senior Program Manager at Shield AI, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver groundbreaking autonomous systems and software that drive the future of defense technology. You will own end-to-end execution and success of programs, coordinating across engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure quality delivery on time and within scope.
What You'll Do:
Lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from planning through execution, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives.
Partner closely with engineering and technical teams to define project scopes, requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
Drive critical path development, allocate resources, and proactively manage timelines, budgets, and risks.
Facilitate clear communication, documentation, and reporting for leadership and customers.
Foster an environment of mentorship, accountability, and high performance within cross-functional teams.
Implement and maintain rigorous program management standards, adapting to technical requirements and agile innovation cycles.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, or related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
Significant experience managing technical programs involving software, hardware, or defense systems.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects within tight schedules and budgets.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working in high-performance teams with a culture of mentorship and excellence.
Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or advanced technical training.
Experience in the aerospace, robotics, defense, or simulation sectors.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
