Summary

Technical Skills
Group skills by category (Automation Frameworks, Languages, CI/CD, Methodologies). List 15-20 tools and technologies you can confidently discuss. Include both automation tools and testing approaches, as many job descriptions look for methodology keywords like BDD, exploratory testing, and shift-left testing.
Tip: Mirror the exact terms from the job description. If they say "Playwright" don't just write "browser automation." If they mention "REST Assured," include it alongside Postman.
Experience
Use this formula for every bullet point:
Start bullets with strong verbs: Designed, Built, Automated, Identified, Reduced, Integrated, Validated. Avoid "Responsible for testing" or "Helped with QA" since they say nothing about your contribution.
3-5 bullets per role. Lead with your highest-impact quality achievements.
Education
For test engineers with 3+ years of experience, education goes last and stays minimal: degree, school, year. If you hold an ISTQB certification or AWS Certified Developer, add a Certifications section above Education instead.
