- ⚠Writing "operated forklift" without volume - "Operated forklift in warehouse" tells managers nothing about your capacity. "Moved 220 pallets per shift in a 400,000 sq ft distribution center" shows your throughput level.
- ⚠Not specifying forklift types - "Forklift certified" is too vague. List the specific equipment: sit-down counterbalance, reach truck, order picker. Many jobs require experience on particular types.
- ⚠Leaving out your safety record - warehouse managers prioritize safety above all else. If you have zero incidents, state the number of hours or years and make it a headline bullet.
- ⚠Skipping WMS and technology skills - modern warehouses run on SAP, Manhattan Associates, or similar systems. Leaving these off makes your resume look outdated to hiring managers.
